![]() I have yet not managed to even extract the data. If we could figure out a way to export this meta data, fix it by "closing" it properly, and import it back to the insv/mp4, we could fix the broken files. I'm guessing that the video and audio streams does not need any EOF or closing "tag" to function but the accelerometer meta data does, and this part is missing since the battery died. The stuff that's broken in our files are in the proprietary Other(meta) data stream, separated from the rest. I'm certainly not an expert is these things but from here I have a feeling that the video and audio streams themselves has no accelerometer/gyroscope/stabilization data put into them since they seem to be in a generic format. If we rename the insv files to mp4 they will play like a regular video in for example VLC, just not stitched or properly projected. The total file size for the first file is 4.87 GB where video is 4.83 GB and audio is 12.7 MB. These three streams are of the same duration, in my case 13m 50s. Each mp4 contains three data streams Video(AVC), Audio(AAC LC) and Other(meta). ![]() The two insv files are renamed mp4 files, one for each camera of the One X. I have been playing around with the files a bit and have found the following using an application called MediaInfo: ![]() This is just a hunch but I think the accelerometer data is in there somewhere, it has just not been properly terminated.
